Islington Voluntary Sector Health NetworkThe Islington Voluntary Sector Health Network (IVSHN) is an independent network that aims to represent the views of the wider voluntary sector and influence the development of health and social care services and strategies in Islington. You can view the aims of the network here and the Terms of Reference can be downloaded from here. The Islington Voluntary Sector Health Network was set up in 2003-4 by Islington Voluntary Action Council (IVAC) to act as a forum for organisations to meet and discuss issues of common concern, to share information and to support effective voluntary sector representation on Islington's Health and Older People's Partnership Board (HOPPB). Members of the Islington Voluntary Sector Health Network were invited to nominate and elect seven representatives onto the Health and Older People's Partnership Board, which is a sub-group of the Islington Strategic Partnership (ISP). The IVSHN also has representation on the Islington Community Network Committee (ICNC). For more information on joining the health network, visit here. You can find details of IVSHN meetings here.
